Calgary Fabric User Group is focused on creating a community for Microsoft Fabric Analytics users within Calgary and the surrounding area.
Join us on November 19, 2024, at 3:00 pm MST for an In-Person event at the Calgary Microsoft Office! The purpose of this group is to discuss and keep up with the ever-shifting landscape of the Microsoft Fabric Experience.
A Fresh Start with Microsoft Fabric | Carter Edie
Business Analytics professionals often juggle a combination of legacy data sources, inherited modeling processes, business specific performance measures, and new third-party service offerings. Most have experienced the challenges associated with getting things to a point where they “just work”, and then are equally challenged at keeping them that way. Paradoxically, current data platforms designed to speed up the delivery of data insights can end up taking more time and resources of the teams tasked with data automation. If insights scaling is the destination, incompatibility scaling is a major roadblock.
The Calgary Fabric User Group is dedicated to fostering a community of professionals in Calgary and the surrounding areas who are passionate about staying updated on the dynamic changes in the Microsoft analytics stack. Our goal is to facilitate discussions on the usage and advancements of various tools, including but not limited to Power BI, OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, Synapse Data Science, Synapse Data Warehouse, Synapse Real-Time Analytics, Data Activator, Copilot in Fabric, and Purview
We encourage participants to share insights, experiences, and best practices in a collaborative environment. The scope of our discussions is not confined to specific products and will evolve over time to address emerging trends and technologies in the realm of Microsoft analytics. Join us as we explore, learn, and connect with like-minded professionals in this ever-evolving landscape.
The discussion is not limited to these products and will change over time.
We welcome anyone who wishes to become involved with one of our user groups. From seasoned presenters to those that are just getting started, there are always opportunities to speak at one of our user groups. For sponsors, this is a great chance to get in front of a dedicated audience of data lovers. Email Renata Kalsbeek for more information on these opportunities.
